As part of their relocation to London, Merlin Entertainments moved to the 16th floor of The Arbor at Bankside. We managed the complete CAT B fit-out for this space, which was delivered as a CAT A environment.
Our goal was to create a workplace that reflects Merlin’s diverse brand portfolio while promoting modern, flexible work practices. The design strikes a balance between vibrant storytelling elements and a contemporary, professional aesthetic.
The floor plan features open-plan desks, enclosed focus rooms, and a spacious breakout area, all crafted to support agile working. A dedicated meeting suite is strategically located near the reception area, enhancing the brand experience from the moment visitors arrive.
To make the most of the stunning views from the 16th floor, we positioned all built elements towards the center of the building, allowing the desk spaces to be located next to the windows. Close collaboration with the landlord's team ensured a smooth project timeline and successful handover. The outcome is a dynamic, future-ready workspace that is tailored to meet Merlin's evolving needs.

“Merlin have worked with Francis Hunter on several successful fit-out projects over the last 7 years, and I have been personally involved with the most recent two. The latest project, where I am working with Simon Jeffery, is due to start on site in the next couple of weeks.
Throughout my time working with Francis Hunter, they have been a fantastic asset in making our projects a success. Their attention to detail and expertise in budgeting and programming have been exceptional. Their extensive subject matter knowledge has meant we have been able to benefit from their experience while their thorough approach to the project management process has given us great confidence and understanding that all aspects of our project will be delivered to the highest standards. This has always been represented in the final delivered projects.
Merlin have been very happy working with Francis Hunter and would not hesitate to continue our collaboration with them.
